How to Conduct Successful Recruitment and Retention in Your Programs

Recruitment and Retention is the heart of measuring success in your programs. Participants will learn different strategies for Recruitment and Retention and how to access assistance in the implementation.

Advocacy 101: What Can You Do to Influence Government Policy and Funding

Participants will learn the basics of the state legislative process and how they can become involved, as well as a range of advocacy strategies including education, community mobilization, media planning, letter writing campaigns, petitioning and much more.

Social Marketing: National Latino AIDS Awareness Day and the NLAAD Model for Planning, Launching and Evaluating a Social Marketing Campaign

Attendees will become familiar with what social marketing is, what the common elements of an effective campaign plan and model are, and how these methods can be applied to improving HIV prevention efforts. Attendees will be provided with basic, real-world tools and information that can be used readily within their organizations to begin planning a social marketing campaign.

Developing Networks Among Latinos/as Living with HIV/AIDS

This session is for persons living with HIV and AIDS to share and build leadership at all levels. This session will be conducted in Spanish.
